Learning with Story!

It was a sunny Saturday morning. The school was buzzing with excitement. Today was the big game! The students of Maple Elementary were ready for the annual soccer match against Pine School.

Era uma manhã ensolarada de sábado. A escola estava cheia de animação. Hoje era o grande jogo! Os alunos da Escola Primária Maple estavam prontos para a partida anual de futebol contra a Escola Pine.

Tom and his friends were on the Maple team. Tom was the captain. He wore a bright blue jersey. His best friend, Lily, was the goalkeeper. She wore gloves and was ready to stop any goals.

Tom e seus amigos estavam no time da Maple. Tom era o capitão. Ele vestia uma camisa azul brilhante. Sua melhor amiga, Lily, era a goleira. Ela usava luvas e estava pronta para defender quaisquer gols.

The game started at 10 a.m. The whistle blew, and the players ran onto the field. Tom dribbled the ball and passed it to Lily. “Let’s win!” he shouted. The crowd cheered for Maple.

O jogo começou às 10 da manhã. O apito soou e os jogadores correram para o campo. Tom driblou a bola e passou para Lily. “Vamos ganhar!” ele gritou. A torcida torcia pela Maple.

Pine School played hard. Their players were fast and strong. But Tom and his team practiced every day. They worked together well. In the first half, the score was 1-1. Tom scored the first goal for Maple!

A Escola Pine jogava duro. Seus jogadores eram rápidos e fortes. Mas Tom e seu time treinavam todos os dias. Eles trabalhavam bem juntos. No primeiro tempo, o placar estava 1-1. Tom fez o primeiro gol para a Maple!

At halftime, the coach gave advice. “Keep your eyes on the ball. Pass it to each other,” he said. The players nodded and were ready for the second half.

No intervalo, o treinador deu conselhos. “Fiquem de olho na bola. Passem entre si,” ele disse. Os jogadores assentiram e estavam prontos para o segundo tempo.

In the second half, the game was tough. Pine School scored another goal. The score was 2-1. Tom felt nervous but did not give up. He ran fast and found Lily. “We can do this!” he said.

No segundo tempo, o jogo estava difícil. A Escola Pine fez mais um gol. O placar estava 2-1. Tom se sentiu nervoso, mas não desistiu. Ele correu rápido e encontrou Lily. “Nós conseguimos!” ele disse.

With only five minutes left, Tom got the ball. He dribbled past two defenders and kicked it hard. The ball flew into the net! Goal! The score was now 2-2.

Com apenas cinco minutos restantes, Tom pegou a bola. Ele driblou dois defensores e chutou com força. A bola voou para dentro da rede! Gol! O placar agora era 2-2.

The game ended in a tie. Both teams played well. Everyone cheered and clapped. Tom and Lily smiled. “Next year, we will win!” they said together. The big game was a great day for all!

O jogo terminou empatado. Ambos os times jogaram bem. Todos aplaudiram e comemoraram. Tom e Lily sorriem. “No ano que vem, nós vamos ganhar!” disseram juntos. O grande jogo foi um ótimo dia para todos!
